"Den Lille Dør is an ambient/jazz/rock project founded by Andrea Sciusco that aims to create a live experience blending photo art, field recordings, music, and improvisation. Based on Andrea's photography, taken with an old analog camera around (mainly) Nordjylland, image sequences are assembled with music tailored for the band to play live while the images are displayed on a large screen. The live experience includes field recordings of nature sounds from the direct source of the images—such as leaves, animals, and water—creating music with this specific place as its starting point. The result is a beautiful musical immersion in the relationship between community and loneliness, humans, God, and nature."
